Choose a burr that fits your brew

All three options use a supplier-stated 38 mm 420 stainless-steel burr. The choice is about the grind range and the kind of brewing you expect to do most often.

5-Star — flexible everyday range: supplier-stated 80–1600 μm adjustment range. A sensible starting point for medium-coarse to medium-fine brewing.
6-Star — finer-setting focus: supplier-stated 300–1500 μm adjustment range, with blade geometry tuned for more efficient fine grinding. Choose this if you expect to use finer settings more often.
7-Star — lowest-fines option: supplier-stated 150–1400 μm adjustment range, with hardened and polished burr edges. The supplier reports lower fines than the other two versions; choose it if grind uniformity is your priority.
