We started with Yunnan coffee. We stayed for the ritual.
Slow Mill Coffee was born from a simple belief: great coffee deserves time.
We began in the misty mountains of Yunnan, working directly with smallholder farmers. Those years taught us something we could not unlearn — the cup is decided long before the pour. By the grind. By the water. By the tools sitting on the counter.
So we built our own brew bar and tested gear the way we once tested coffee: slowly, and honestly. Everything in our collection is a tool we use ourselves, every single day.
This is still coffee the way it was meant to be: slow, intentional, unforgettable. Only now, you bring the beans — we will look after the ritual.

We would rather sell you three tools you keep for a decade than thirty you replace next year. Every item is used on our own bar, then listed — not the other way around.
We started by working directly with smallholder coffee farmers in Yunnan, paying above fair-trade prices. That standard — no middlemen, mutual respect — is how we choose the workshops that build our gear too.
Our range stays deliberately small. If a tool does not make a cleaner, calmer cup, it does not make the collection.
