Brew Guide

Your calm starting point for pour-over

This guide gives you one simple recipe to repeat, taste, and adjust—without trying to change everything at once.

One-cup pour-over recipe

  • Coffee: 15 g
  • Water: 250 g
  • Ratio: 1:16–1:17
  • Water temperature: 92–94°C / 198–201°F
  • Grind: Start medium-fine, then adjust one step at a time
  • Target brew time: about 2:30–3:30

Four simple steps

  1. Rinse your filter and warm your cup.
  2. Bloom: add about 30 g of water and wait 30 seconds.
  3. Pour slowly: add water in calm circles until you reach 250 g.
  4. Taste, then adjust one thing: if it tastes sharp, try a slightly finer grind or a slower pour; if it tastes heavy or bitter, try a slightly coarser grind.
